Ultra Clean Hair

I haven't used this type of shampoo for years and thought I would try this one since I am using the other products from Kerastase for my hair. This product works amazing! I don't use it every time but at least once a week and it really cleanses my hair before I shampoo and condition. I highly recommend this product!

Worth the buy!

I previously used clarifying shampoo and switched to this. This doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped and unmanageable like the clarifying shampoo did yet still removes product buildup and deposits from our hard water.

Great Add-On Hair Routine

This pre-cleanse scrub is a weekly add-in to my hair routine. I only use this from the Chronologiste collection specifically to remove product buildup from my hair. I have fine straight hair, this product definitely does the trick and it smell good! I highly recommend.

Squeaky Clean

My hair and scalp are squeeky clean after using this product. It has a light fresh scent and leaving it on for a couple of minues while showering is suggested. Afterwards, I use a light shampoo (almost dont need one!). I've been using about twice a week, and am planning to repurchase when I run dry.

Stunning

I wasn't sure about purchasing this, but after trying the Regenerant shampoo and mask, I thought I would add this pre-cleanse. I am so glad I did. My fine hair has more shine, lift and bounce after 2 uses. I usually lather twice with shampoo, but I am using this as one lather, then just one more with the Regenerant shampoo. I love the difference it makes.

Ruined my hair color

The product definitely helped with reducing the build up on my scalp but it made my beautiful natural light brown almost blonde hair into the darkest brown/ black color!!! I'm freaking out since I only used it once and second shower faint yet! Plz tell me this is gonna faint and that I'll have my hair color again!

Clean canvas

I like to use it a day before I go in to my hairdresser to get my roots touch up and cut. It cleans all of the product residue on my scalp without being harsh. Smells great too.

Caution: may discolor bleached hair

It really makes sense to keep charcoal-containing products off your bleached hair, but I had a moment of madness and used this anyway. Bad move! Now my hair is not a nice color, and I hope this washes out soon. I'm not sure the product deserves just one star, but I need to put this out there for those who may be cautioned against making my mistake!

Good bye dry scalp

I tend to get dry patchy spots on my scalp that nothing has helped. I started using the Regenerant Hair Scrub and after a week I noticed a huge difference on my scalp. Not only my scalp but it takes very little shampoo to cover all my hair. It is not sudsy so only down fall is it takes more to cover your scalp and hair.

My Review for Kerastase Chronologiste Pre Cleanse

This stuff is quite simply amazing! I just ordered my 2nd bottle today. I bought my first one, along with the entire Chronologiste line at a local salon. This specific product has lasted for a year! I like to use it before I shampoo as it’s intended. It leaves my hair super clean! I can get a full week of not washing my hair and it never gets greasy! I always have to shampoo my hair twice in the shower regardless so this product fits in my routine flawlessly. I am a HUGE fan of Kerastase. I used Orbie before switching to Kerastase. I believe they are part of the same company but Kerastase is less expensive and in my opinion a better product. I have tried almost every single line that Kerastase has and have never once been disappointed.

My scalp has never been so clean

Nice product!

I've tried a few that were in aerosol cans and I actually like this product better. It foamed up nicely and I really enjoyed the color of the product being black. Dried my hair out after minimal use :(

My hair stylist recommended this product, and although I am a faithful Kerastase user (and have been for years), this product left my hair dry and brittle, and my scalp itchy. It stripped my hair and I found that even following up with the Chronolgiste mask didn't help to overcome this issue. It has the opposite effect of what I look for in a hair product. So disappointed that I spent so much money on this.

Neat Product for a Deep Clease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine and dull hair that gets pretty greasy easily... I tried this product after not washing my hair for a few days, and it seemed to do a good job of cleansing - I probably could've gotten away with not shampooing if I wanted to. The product itself is very interesting - it's a super black goo that looks like it came out of a sci-fi movie. However, once I applied some shampoo to my hair, I formed the biggest lather I've ever experienced, which I attributed to the pre-clease. If you're trying to get a lot of product out of your hair, say after a wedding or formal event, I would recommend this. For daily use, it's probably not necessary.

My Hair Looked and Felt So Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure when I first received this to try out if it would even be enough for my long, thick, curly hair but I was pleasantly surprised that you really don't need to use a lot to get amazing results. First the scent was nice, not overpowering but not like chemicals either. Second I love that it's got charcoal in it because I use a face wash and body wash with charcoal so why not use a product with it to pre-cleanse my hair and scalp? And third Kerastase always has high quality hair care and they continue to with this new line. I recommend Kerastase Chronologiste Pre-Cleanse Regenerate Hair Scrub to anyone who might need a little more cleansing for their hair without stripping it completely of it's natural oils. It definitely made my hair cleaner and softer while it also made it feel lighter, less weighed down.

Detox & clarify scalp and hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After applying products to slick my hair back into a tight, sleek ponytail, my hair felt just plain filthy. This product is genius! Who would have thought a "pre-cleanse" hair scrub would be a thing?!! It was so easy to use. I simply massaged the the Kerastase pre-cleanse into my scalp with my fingers. That's it. I'll admit I was a bit worried about how the pre-cleanse would wash out because the color of it was a deep black. I almost thought it may possibly stain my white shower. Thank goodness it rinsed out very easily & did not leave any stains in my shower. After rinsing the pre-cleanse out of my hair, I followed with my shampoo and conditioner. My scalp and hair has never felt cleaner and residue-free. My favorite part about this product it that it helps detox the scalp so you get a two-in-one type of product that cleanses as it detoxifies. Oh, and it smells great too! I think I'm going to have to purchase the full size.

Kerastase Chronologiste Pre-Cleanse Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here are some pros and cons regarding using this product: Pros: - The scent wasn't too bad - The trial size packet had plenty for me to use in one use. Cons: - Although the scent wasn't bad, it was very overwhelming and smelled like strong perfume! - The scrub left my hair very dry and hard to manage. The only reason I was able to brush through it was because I follow up with my regular shampoo, conditioner, and detangling spray. - I'm unsure if this was due to receiving a trial packet, but there was no directions in English that I could locate on the packet on how to use this item correctly. All in all, I probably wouldn't use this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this hair scrub, it left my hair and scalp feeling so clean and refreshed! It really helped removed any built up product and made my hair so soft and healthy, without stripping the hair too much of it's natural oils.
