Perfection in a bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what magic potion is in this bottle but I have never had a better hairspray! It lifts, holds, isn't sticky and has a light pleasant scent. I have curly/wavy hair and I finally have a spray that doesn't make my hair look crispy, lol! Get this, you won't regret it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all three products I got to test, THIS was my favorite. It's a fine mist, not overly powerful so that you get great gobs of uneven hairspray. Smells good. Nice sized container and you don't need much. A word of warning, but kind of a good one, make sure you have your hair EXACTLY as you want it before you spray. It dries almost instantly. Which is good...and bad if you like to play with your style right after you spray it...lol. Overall, an awesome product, I would definitely recommend and definitely buy again!

No More Stiff Hold

Good Product!

Micro Fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My recent style is a sort of pixie cut that I can also form into a small faux hawk. It's been a challenge finding something that would hold both styles down. Then, this arrived for me to try. It's not often I fall in love with hairspray so I won't use it. This one however changed my mind completely! The spray comes out evenly, in a very micro fine mist which I immediately loved. It smells really nice but not overpowering. I tried this first on wet hair & yes it held my style all day with flexible hold & no flaking. The spray left my hair looking nice and shiny. The next day I used it again on dry hair & again the spray delivered! I got the same all day, flexible hold, shiny and no flakes. It definitely didn't affect my color either. This will be my go to hairspray from now on!

Quality Hair Spray

This hairspray helped a bit with the fly aways that I get across the top of my head because of the humidity here in Florida. Across the board this product line has a nice scent & didn't smell all chemically like a lot of hair sprays.

Not for curly hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t a fan of this product. I know it doesn’t claim to be an anti-frizz product, but that’s what I look for in any product that claims to have any sort of hold. The hold feels a little more crunchy and brittle than I’d prefer (and I like crunch because it keeps the style longer). My hair has a natural shine because it’s well moisturized normally. I don’t see any shine in it at all. It takes a while for me to apply products to my hair because I section it. I was really surprised that I could still brush through my hair once the product was evenly distributed, because of the fast drying claim. I don’t understand how this would have a layering feature since it’s just hair spray. It either works or it doesn’t. Applying more shouldn’t make a product work better (in my opinion). Maybe I just don’t understand that concept. My hair does not feel soft at all. In fact, as soon as I finish this review, I’m going to re-wash my hair making sure to deep condition to revert any perceived damage to my moisture/protein balance.

Locked down my curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hairspray definitely locked down my curls and I love that it has color protection! It dried quickly and didn't make my hair feel like straw like some hairsprays can do that have a strong hold. My curls were radiant and I still had wavy hair an unbelievable 5 days later! I applied the mess it up texture paste before styling and finished it with the hairspray.  The next day I was able to brush my hair and apply serum to freshen up my curls and I was able to do this up to the 5th day! I honestly probably could have kept my curls longer but I didn't want to go longer without washing my hair. I will recommend this product and  purchase it in the future.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far every Pureology product I’ve used (even if not usable for myself), I’ve been fairly happy with — if not very happy. Unfortunately, you can’t win them all and I found this hairspray to be the same, run-of-the-mill aerosol hairspray that left my hair (long, fine, but a lot of it!) with that sticky, frozen feeling. Living in MO, we deal with humidity a lot, even in wintertime … and I feel the hairspray actually weighed down my style rather than protecting it against humidity and keeping it in place. It’s a no for me.

Great hold and not too wet!

It almost made my hair too big and crazy at first, but it settled down after a few minutes and just turned into touchable, strong waves. I don’t like a very wet hairspray and I feel like this sprays in a nice, more fine way to keep that to a minimum. It is a little sticky at first, but if you need to hold a style, this is the hairspray you need! It also smells great and is a decent-sized can. Pureology never disappoints!

Strength & Shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hairspray combines everything I like in a product meant for setting my hair. The formula provides a nice, sleek shine so that while my hair was held in place, I didn’t feel that it was at all rigid or crackly, and I still had bounce and movement even with more structured styles. I really love the nozzle because it makes a difference in delivery of the product; the mist comes out extremely fine, allowing you to do a quick once over to lock style in place overall, or concentrate on specific areas for stronger hold.

Not appropriate for my hair type

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I greatly appreciate receiving this product but it did absolutely nothing for my hair. I have locs and don’t use many hair styling products because they cause buildup in the locs which is a pain to remove. This product is better suited for other hair types. I used a light spritz on my locs after rolling them. Then dried my hair under a hooded dryer. The curls were pretty the first day. But didn’t last any longer than if I hadn’t used the spray.

Lightweight perfection

It doesn’t have a lot of stick but it does the job well. It does a decent job when combing through that the hairs don’t fuse together like some other hair brands. I would recommend this product

I like it!

It had less of a smell compared to the texturizing paste and volumizing spray. The hold lasted all night and didn’t leave my strands crunchy.

Works well

It’s fabulous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this hairspray. A little bit goes a long way. It has a strong hold for updos you don’t want to move, yet still manageable if you need to brush your hair out or use it for volume. It does smell like hairspray but it has a nice scent also. The bottle is gigantic. This works perfectly for curls that you want to have some move to them, it gives volume and hold. My hair was up and it did get hard but I used too much. I was able to brush it out which I love, so it still had good hold and volume and lost the crunch immediately. It lasts all day, my hair is in the same place when I get home from work and even stays in shape when I take my hair clip out! I will continue to use this hairspray. This is comparable to high end hairsprays. I love how big the bottle is. My hair feels good after using, it’s not drying like other hairsprays. I recommend.

My new go-to hairspray! Amaaazing!

The Best Hair Spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been loving this hair spray. This helps hold my curls in place and does not leave my hair feeling crunchy or heavy. I will still have my hair curled the following day and it won’t feel like I’ve been using hairspray. I also tend to share hair products with my mom and she also likes the way it holds her hairstyles. I also like that the scent does not linger. I can get headaches from certain scents or if they linger too long. I have had no issues when using this hairspray. I mostly use it when I curl my hair or when I straighten my hair. I have not used it for high pony tail hairstyles so I don’t know how that will hold or look the following day.

Nice Medium Hold Hairspray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the slight scent this spray has always makes me feel like I just left the salon, which is always a nice feeling! It’s not strong, but enough to notice upon first application. This is a great medium hold hairspray that doesn’t weigh down your hair & dries down surprisingly quick! If you’re slicking back your hair for a pony or bun, this does leave a shine on your hair, fyi, as opposed to being matte. I was hoping to super love this hairspray all the way around, and while I do really like the hold it gives my hair, on the next day after use, the areas where I applied spray for a slicked back pony have a white-ish residue left on them and sometimes even look a bit flaky. Not a great look when I’m not due to wash my hair for a few days lol. So, the only reason why it’s not a full 5 stars is because of this. Otherwise, it’s a great medium hold hairspray with a really light, lovely scent!

Soft to the touch and good hold

not stiff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been loving this hairspray. I’ve used it for an updo sort of messy bun look as well as just to hold some voluminous curls throughout the day. It does not make my hair stuff at all but definitely still has some hold to it. It does take a bit of a heavy spray to get it to hold down my baby hairs but I don’t think that is the intent of the product. Overall I think it’s awesome for my long hair when it’s down in styled and I think I would definitely buy it again.

Great Hold, a Little Stiff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I really did enjoy this hairspray. But it’s a spray that isn’t for everyday use in my opinion. This hairspray does have great hold! However, it can be a little sticky and make your hair a little stiff. I found that I use it more when I’m wearing my hair up or I want those little baby hairs to lay down. It did not work well when I curled my hair and I still wanted to be able to move my hair or run my hands through it. If you’re looking for a strong hold hairspray, I highly recommend.

Your hair will not move!

Let me just say that when I use this hairspray, my style lasts all day, even after being outside! My hair is fine, thin, and doesn't hold a curl well. heavier hold but no heavy on the hair

I’ve always had a problem with flyaways when styling my hair and nothing has seemed to really control them so i tried this and it really did the job. keeps my hair tamed

No Hardened Hair

With the transition, I still tend to straighten my hair every so often, and this hair spray did not make my hair feel crunchy and hair due to the strong hold. It was also a plus that it smelled amazing. I would definitely consider using this hair spray on a regular basis.

Lock it down hairspray!

Great hair spray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster and couldn’t wait to try it. It does exactly what it says it does, it has maximum hold which is amazing and keeps all the fly always intact. The only negative thing is it does make your hair feel hard but on the bright side it locks the hairstyle in place. Give it a try if you want your hair to stay put!!!

Needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I didn’t like the smell of this. It smells like alcohol mixed with cheap soap. I used this when I curled my hair and as you can see, it didn’t really keep curly. It was a soft hold, I think and I did not like that it made my hair feel brittle. I wish I was given more instructions on how to use to product better as I may have used it wrongly.

Good fixer

Fantastic hold with little fragrance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My go-to hairspray is Amika. I didn’t think I would be able to find anything that I liked just as much, until I used this. It exceeded my expectations for hold. It did not leave behind a strong odor. Also, my hair still felt flexible and looked shiny enough throughout the day. The spray did not cause any flaking or dryness, and unlike other hairsprays, it did not seem to be full of alcohol. My hair still felt nice with it. I highly recommend!

Love the smell

Works okay but could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, this hair spray didn't work as well as I hoped. My hair, for whatever reason, is very resistant to curling. I've tried different hair sprays, but none really seem to work flawlessly. I noticed that this spray did help hold my hair, but not as much as I would like. On the plus side, I was happy with the fact that my hair was still soft and not crunchy like some other sprays. The product also has a nice smell. The bottle, however, could use some work. The nozzle falls off super easy, and when I put it back on, it sprays funny, almost like it's half clogged. I can't figure it out. This is the second bottle that I have that does that, even though it sprayed perfect to start with. (I bought one to try prior to receiving this from Influenster.)

the hairspray I didn’t know I needed it

Usually my curls go flat within hours of styling but when I used this Pureology hairspray I noticed a difference. Will definitely buy and make it a part of my hair products.

Multiuse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried that this would be too strong of a hold. I rarely need a strong/ firm hold hairspray. I usually use a flexible hold to keep loose wave curls in my straight hair, however I was able to use this as a flexible hairspray! The mister dispersed really well and didn't leave concentrated hairspray spots. pleasantly surprised by this!

Great Hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have super fine and stick straight hair, Hairsprays either don’t Keep its hold for long or are overly sticky. I loved this hairspray and overall love Pureology products. It kept my curls in for more then 16 hours (which is impressive given the condition of my hair).
