Must Have for Just Colored Blondes

I get blonde highlights in my dark blonde hair regularly as needed. After I get my hair highlighted, this is the only shampoo I will use on my hair for the next couple of weeks. It is very gentle and I feel safe using it on my highlights after paying so much for them lol. This shampoo was very healthy for my highlights and hair. I don’t have any hair breakage or falling. My hair also is soft and shiny. It makes it beautiful to show off my new Blonde highlights! This is definitely a must have for anyone who Blonde highlights. You will not be disappointed!

I was so excited to try this….but

I did not love this product unfortunately. I had recently had my hair done with bleach ombré balayage and highlights over 7 hours worth of work and I really wanted to make sure I took care of it after such a damaging process. But this product along with the conditioner did not help how I expected it to. I love this line and use the leave in nightly and love the scent but this was a miss!

Better than purple shampoo!!

My bleach blonde hair always turns purple and stays brassy with purple shampoos. This is magic it is not purple but works!! And my hair is super soft. I have to shampoo with a clarifying shampoo 1x a week because we have terrible hard water so damaging to the hair and the shampoo leaves my hair dry. But using this with Kerastase Fondant Renforcateur Conditioner my hair is amazingly soft and healthy.

Kerastase is the best......

I recently did a number on my hair. It was already bleached a year ago to platinum blonde, but I recently applied a semi permanent dye that turned out too dark. I did a bleach bath that didn't work well, so then bleached same day to get back to my platinum blonde. You'd think my hair turned into straw but it actually looks same as pre bleach. It's shiny, bouncy, bright, and soft. I used cicaextreme shampoo and also the Kerastase purple shampoo. I did use Olaplex 3 for an hour, then left Olaplex 5 in for another hour between sessions. Also, I use Kerastase Discipline Oleo Relax as a leave after each hair wash, as well as Cicaplasme leave-in, and nectar therminique leave-in (yes all those at once). My hair is fine but very dense, meaning I have a lot of it! So for me using this many products is ok, doesn't weigh my hair down. I believe Kerastase helps maintain the integrity of my hair even after all the chemical processes I put it through.

Your hair needs Karastase!

Was exclusively using Olaplex for over a year without much difference in overall hair health. I bought this Kerastase shampoo and the change was immediate! My hair instantly felt softer and more moisturized. With less frizz as well.

Best shampoo I have ever used

I am a hair product junkie and have used to many shampoos to count. This stuff is the best creation since sliced bread. It makes my bleached hair feel like silk and I will never use another shampoo again. Keep in mind that this is a paste and the consistency isn’t like other shampoo hence the jar and not a shampoo bottle. You need very little for a full rich lather about the size of a thumb nail. If your thinking about it buy it already you will not be disappointed!

You name it I’ve used it

Being a professional I’ve used basically every single shampoo on the market especially blonde specific ones and by far this is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! It keeps hydrated , clean and not brittle from being dry ! I also use this on my extensions and it’s just absolutely incredible . Kerastase outdid themselves with the whole blond absolu line . If they sold a even bigger size then the biggest id buy it in a heartbeat , this is a forever restock !

Not moisturizing...

This product was not nearly as hydrating as I thought it would be. I have pretty damaged, color-treated hair, and I thought this would help, but the conditioner is really what does the trick. It seems I can use almost any shampoo and get the same effect.

Miracle worker

This tangles my hair SO badly!

I've used this about five times since purchasing and it's so disappointing! I don't think it cleans my hair very well and it seems to tangle all the hair at the root which causes so many knots and creates more breakage. I was hopeful about this product but I won't even be able to finish the tub because it's that bad :/

Le Bain Cicaextreme for Extreme Care

What a find! Le Bain Cicaextreme Shampoo keeps my fragile, fine, dry, blonde-highlighted hair healthy with hydrating, strand-protecting body. Not sure how it works, but it is definitely effective. Used with Cicaflash conditioner, my hair stays strong with tangle-free silkiness.

Pleasant surprise

I was pleasantly suprised with this product. I have short, highlighted blonde, fine hair. Just a tiny bit of this shampoo creates the creamiest lather, not foamy bubbles, but silky, creamy lather that smells divine. My hair is soft, bouncy and shiny after blowdrying with increased volume.

Got this from a small hair salon that will not take back and is the worst product I have used from Kerastase. Leaves my hair dry and difficult to style even after using the oil!!!!. Not sure what to do and don't know which of this line besides this shampoo I need to stop using

Amazing Product!

I love how the shampoo suds up and how it makes my hair feel. I do not like the packaging. I think having the shampoo in a tub rather than a bottle has a potential for waste. I know When I grab a glob of it some falls into the shower. At that price, I want every drop I pay for.

Still not the best

The reason is I still haven't found the best one. I had high hopes for Kerastase, specially because of the price tags. Unfortunately it is just ok. It really tangled my hair, even with using the Kerastase conditioner/mask afterwards. I had to wash my hair one day earlier than with some other competitors. I do absolutely love the smell and how it lingers throughout the day. I would recommend to invest rather into the Kerastase mask for blond hair and maybe use whatever shampoo you have or some of the other brands. I personally would expect more than just OK from this shampoo.

Banish Dry Hair

This product makes my hair soft, hydrated and shiny with sacrificing volume. The product is thick and goes on similar to a hair mask. It is not heavily scented, which I do not mind but understand is an issue for some. You can tell a difference with just one use and results have continued to improve over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kerastase Blond Absolu Moisturizing Cream Shampoo is not like any other shampoo for blondes. As most of us blondes know, being blonde is not just a hair color, it's a way of life. Taking care of my tresses is just as important as the color itself. Being blonde is an investment. I have tried so many other shampoos that claim to be gentle enough to use on my highlighted hair. Most of them end up drying my hair out. Kerastase Blond Absolu Moisturizing Cream Shampoo is not like that at all! Instead of drying my hair out, the creamy texture of the shampoo filled my hair with much needed hydration. That said, it might have been a little too much hydration. I loved the texture of Kerastase Blond Absolu Moisturizing Cream Shampoo. It is super creamy and lathers very well. It did leave my hair feeling a little heavy. It felt weighed down and limp. I have used other Kerastase products on my hair, like the Chronologiste line and the Genesis products. Those worked better on my hair. I do have pretty healthy hair for a blonde. When I was bleaching it more, I believe the Kerastase Blond Absolu Moisturizing Cream Shampoo would have been the perfect choice. This creamy shampoo just left my hair a little too heavy for my taste. But if you do bleach your hair a lot and use heat on your hair, this might be the perfect pick. One thing I really liked about this shampoo was that unlike other purple shampoos, it didn't lighten my hair too much or leave any purple residue. I did not have purple stained hair like some anti-brass shampoos do. I think this shampoo might just be for right after I get my hair highlighted and colored. I would recommend this shampoo for anyone that has very bleached and distressed strands. I'll save this one for the summer for sure! This would be the perfect pick for blonde, beach bunny babes that want to protect their tresses and keep their blonde hair protected from sun, sand, and any other thing that might dehydrate hair.

Love, love, love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine hair that gets weighed down, very easily. Usually by the evening, my roots are greasy. I did not have a problem! My hair has been breaking from the bleach and this definitely smoothed it out and felt it gave me a great shine! It's also a different scent then I'm used to from kerastase and I loved it! The only downside was the tiny print on a darker purple background so it was hard to read and differentiate between the shampoo and conditioner but I imagine won't be an issue with full size bottles.

Not a fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was disappointed in this because I was hoping it would be a purple shampoo (to tone brassy blonde) but it was not. I was also disappointed that this shampoo had sulfates which has been proven to not be good for hair. It was a very thick shampoo and even with the sulfates it didn't lather well. And now about 24 hours later my hair looks greasy already and my scalp is itchy. The only good thing is that I do feel like it brightened up my blond color a bit.

Strengthens Hair without Weighing it Down

Terrific Product

I immediately noticed a huge difference in my hair, my hair is color-treated (bleached blonde) and has been for years! Honestly, my hair feels healthier then it did when it wasn't bleached! It's super soft, bouncer and definitely has a great shine to it. My hair is more manageable and silkier. I'm older (40s), so I have a few silver strands coming in, and with this line, it keeps my glitter silky as well. I really love this and feel it would be great on most hair types. My hair has never felt better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have gone from about a level 2 hair to blonde - around a level 8 or 9. As you can imagine, my hair went through A LOT. The shampoo is a cream, so I was surprised that it sudsed up. Instead of typical shampoo that seems to cause friction when shampooing, this one adds some slip. The masque on top of the shampoo is a miracle worker. My hair feels so nourished and like virgin hair. The oil - I'm not typically a fan of oil as I feel they typically weigh my hair down. However, my hair sucked up this oil and left it silky.

Amazing post bleach treatment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kerastase Blond Absolu shampoo is more amazing than I could have imagined. I have been home bleaching my hair a lot lately and it started to catch up with my hair. When I rinsed out the bleach my hair felt so dry, I couldn't even run my hands through it. I slowly rubbed this shampoo cream in and I could feel the life coming back into my hair. I was able to run my fingers through and get the cream all throughout my hair. A little really goes a long way as well. The smell is great also! I came downstairs and my husband and kids were saying how good it smells. Rather than a fruity shampoo it smells like a beautiful floral perfume. It spreads well throughout your hair and really brings that important moisture to the damage being caused by bleach!

Bright blonde

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey, guys in this week I got two products for my highlighted hair care, as I highlight my hair this product suggest to me by my hair consultant to maintain keep care for my blond hair no doubt I'm happy with the quality of this products highlypigmented along with CiCAEXTREAME came with so nice packaging and the smell is so nice not to strong and I'm so pleased with these products and they exactly do what intended, lift the blonde while decreasing the brasses and keep healthy and shine I have tried this once in a week and my hair love it, my blonde streaks are now bright and fresh had made my hair salon finished with nothing doing after this and make so soft and easy in styling, we can say that its little bit expensive but the feel of your hair and the comfort of your scalp makes it worth

Ultra Moisturizing

I was really concerned that the amount of product wouldn't last very long (I have a lot of hair), but a little goes a long way! It's super moisturizing, and my hair felt instantly softer. I highly recommend!

Creamy and Gentle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so nice tu use this version of creamy shampoo because you can feel a super gentle and moisturizer hug while you are whashing your hair. The scent is amazing too, sweet and soft. My hair after this shampoo felt totally clean and not dry! and that is amazing when you have bleached hair. Follow with the whole treatment you can have best results. The nice thing about this is you can use just a little, like a 2 peas size balls of creme and you can enjoy how this distributes in your hair tottaly. I like the consistency and the ability to good foam.

Made my dry platinum hair look shiny and fresh aga

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kerastase Blond Absolu Moisturizing Cream Shampoo, strengthening hair mask and strengthening hair oil cut the brass in my platinum hair. My hair looked shiny and fresh again. My dry hair felt much better after the first use of these three. Game changer! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the scent is a wee bit strong. It's pleasant but potent.

OMG buy this now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blown away by this shampoo. When I first read that it was a cream shampoo I was skeptical. I have very fine hair and thought it would weigh it down. Boy was I wrong! This is the creamiest shampoo ever, super moisturizing yet leaves your hair incredibly light. And it does foam just like a regulat shampoo. I will have to splurge and buy this from now on. Just amazing, honestly blown away!

Pleasantly Surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm one who usually has to dump shampoo into my hair to get any kind of lather going but I was really surprised at how little product I needed. I like how thick it was and that it came in a little tub and think this may have also helped with the amount used. My hair felt super clean but quite dry and textured after rinsing so I was surprised at how healthy and moisturized it felt and looked afterwards. I also love the scent.. almost calming. All around a really impressed, great shampoo for my color treated hair!
