Great for my fine hair
My hair is soft, smooth and has bounce. Even my husband says "wow" your hair is so soft - especially on wash days (trust me, this is HUGE, he doesn't notice anything!!)

It’s just ok
Didn’t love this as much as I thought I would. The shampoo is so much better and my expectations were that they would provide great results using them together. However, I find that I’m not wowed by this conditioner. I have to use a great deal of the product to work it through my think hair and it doesn’t do anything more than my average conditioner.

Hi There! Thank you for trying our Le Fondant Conditioner. After the shampooing, apply the Elixir Ultime conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends in quarter-sized amounts, until 100% saturation is achieved. Using a wide tooth comb, evenly distribute the product throughout the hair. Next, clip the hair up and out of the way for comfort and to ensure the water isn’t rinsing out the product as you bathe. The final step before getting out of the shower should be to unclip the hair, turn down the water temperature to a slightly cooler setting and rinse well. We will pass this information along to our team!

Light weight for long hair
I have very long hair that reaches my waist and have been using this product for about three weeks. The conditioner has not only made my hair smell good, but it has kept my ends from splitting and feeling dry. There is no frizz, and my hair has never felt softer. Lastly, my hair has not felt 'heavy' since using this product. It feels like I have not put any products in my hair.

Le Fondant
This Kerastase Le Fondant conditioner leaves my very fine hair shiny, almost glossy and much fuller than usual. It definitely has more body. I wear my hair short and the conditioner seems to give it more fullness around my face. I am well past 50 years old, and am also a wash and wear person when it comes to fussing with my hair. This conditioner is the best I have ever used.

Product good. Package, not so much.
I like the product but the package needs improvement. Trying to open and dispense the conditioner with wet hands standing in the shower proves to be tricky. The cap is slippery. Most containers these days have addressed this issue with a flip-open cap.

Parfait pour cheveux fins qui frisottent
J'ai des cheveux fins, blonds, nombreux, légèrement ondulés qui détestent l'humidité, gonflant très vite et devenant ternes. J'ai testé énormément de produits ces dernières années et la gamme Elixir Ultime est la seule qui permet de maitriser ma chevelure et de retrouver la brillance. J'ai d'abord testé L'huile originale et vu des résultats, mais c'est la combinaison avec toute la gamme Bain + Fondant (+ Mousse) + L'huile originale après séchage qui marche parfaitement. Ce fondant a la texture un peu liquide et légère, c'est parfait quand on a des cheveux fins mais qui ont besoin d'être nourris. Le seul bémol c'est le parfum qui est beaucoup trop fort par rapport au shampoing et à l'huile. Un grand merci à Kerastase, j'ai été très bien conseillé.

Love Kerastase but this is worst product. Awful overwhelming scent and extremely watery consistency. Thought I could get past these attributes if my hair turned out well but product was super heavy (took triple the time to blow dry and gave me the worst hair day.

Watery consistency, not moisturizing
Very light conditioner, very watery, doesn’t moisturize well at all. I definitely grabbed the wrong conditioner idk if this is for people with thin hair but I have super thick, textured hair and it was like I didn’t even put conditioner in my hair. My hair was still very tangly, it was unmanageable… I guess don’t buy something just because it’s in a pretty bottle. It serves no purpose to me.

Okay but texture is unappealing
It works fine but is very runny. As soon as you open the bottle, the conditioner starts running out. I don’t love the overly thin conditioner. Also, the fragrance is very strong, like perfume.

Nice smell but doesn’t do anything to my hair.
Smells amazing, I feel like I am using a luxury perfume on my hair every time I wash my hair. But I am giving 2 starts because it doesn’t do much for my hair, it doesn’t make it feel softer or helps untangle it. The texture is very liquid, so I feel I need to use more product that’s when it is a cream.

Patchouli overload
I've had this Elixir Ultime conditoner on rotation with my other Kerastase products, and this is the only one I don't like. It works okay but I prefer the EU mask, and I always dread using this because of the strong smell of patchouli, a smell I can't stand. It also smells like men's deodorant. The EU shampoo and mask smell amazing, so I don't know why this is different.

Runny. Huge disappointment!

Extremely Fragrant
While I love the hair oil serum that I have been using for years, this conditioner was lackluster. Extremely fragrant in the shower, I had to rinse and rinse and rinse. My hair is normal to dry, color-treated and highlighted. The next day, hair felt and looked greasy. Not for me.

Waste of Money
I now know what the expression "Ruining a Good Name" means. I used to trust Kerastase implicitly. I didn't worry about spending the money if I was having a hair emergency and couldn't afford to risk making a mistake. It was never a mistake.
The last two products I've purchased have felt like poor quality drugstore treatments.
My hair felt dry and coated not fresh and healthy. There's a certain residue cheap conditioners leave behind-there may be shine for the first few hours but any softness feels artificial, and by the next day it's coated and it feels like your hair has been bent and glued into place.
That.
I hate it. I don't know if you've changed your ingredients or what but I won't risk buying even my old favourites again.

Le Fondant Conditioner
This product smells great, but it doesn’t moisturize my hair like I was hoping it would. It is very runny and difficult to get through thick hair. It leaves it feeling tangly. It would also be helpful for Kerastase to have push-to-open caps on the tops of their shampoos and on the bottoms of their conditioners. It’s inconvenient to have to screw the lids off every time you use them.

Really runny

Bad consistency works ok
The conditioner works good for my hair but the consistency is so bad. Its so liquidity that it comes out of the tube even without pressing the tube. Its very inconvenient and messy while using in the shower. Probably will not come back to it.

Good conditioner but not great shine
Bought this as my hair always seems dull and without shine. It is a good conditioner and has a great scent however I don't really notice much difference in the amount of shine I have. It does though have a nice affect for the dryness of my hair.

Great for shine and smoothing
My hair has a lot of frizz. This conditioner does a good job smoothing it out and making it shiny. The smell is a little strong out of the bottle but worth it later!

Leaves your hair soft and shiny
I bought this 3 weeks ago and I will buy it again. I have bleach blonde hair and my hair was stressed from the extensive highlights. This treatment smells good and it made my hair smooth and shiny. I leave it in longer than the directions and rinse it off in cold water.

Great smell!
It has a fantastic smell! It does the job conditioner wise but I’m still testing it out to see if it’s my favorite Kerastase conditioner!

Unhappy with conditioner product this time.
The conditioner is 'watery' not like a cream as was the previous conditioners. It was very cold when the delivery came. I was home so the box did not sit outside. assume being shipped somehow changed the product?

Disappointing
It is extremely watery and it feels like i had to use the whole tube for feeling my hair conditioned. Very sad with this product.

Noticeable Difference
My hair is noticeably softer, and the scent lasts for a good while even to the next day. It's definitely better than what's at the store. I have been using a combination of silk pillowcases and homemade hair masks and both have yet to make my hair as soft as this.

Explodes in luggage...

Good product to get shiny and strong hair
Adds a lot of shine to the hair. I didn’t like that when you first apply it, it’s not a smooth as you expect but it clears up once you rinse it. Definitely my hair feels stronger and shinier

Not for every day, but great!
I love the idea of oil infused conditioner! Less is more- it tends to weigh my hair down- but when I get the amounts just right, my hair is shiny, soft, and lovely. I use this conditioner every three shampoos or so. I have very fine, straight hair.

Great conditioner, wrong container!
This conditioner is spot-on for a Kerastase product - high quality, smells great, and leaves hair feeling excellent. My biggest complaint is that because this conditioner is not the creamy, thick conditioner that Kerastase is better known for, it causes considerable waste as it tends to leak out of the dispenser hole as you open the cap. This product is a bit of a splurge for me so the thought of wasting so much had me trying to store the tube on the top edge and trying to open and close the bottle upside-down without the conditioner running out of my hand.

Thin but mighty
While I’m not a fan of the scent and the consistency is thinner than many other Kerastase masks and conditioners, this does condition my hair nicely. In fact, it makes my mostly-straight but when well moisturized, hair wavy and bouncy when air dried. My hair is fine but lots of it. This conditioner gives it bounce, sleekness and shine when paired with the shampoo and elixir ultime oil.

Makes my hair happy
The first time I used this I did notice it was watery, as other reviewers have stated, but since then I shake the bottle well before I use it and it’s thicker and I really like how it leave my hair soft and shiny, but not weighed down. My only real complaint is that the smell is SO STRONG. It wouldn’t be unpleasant if it weren’t so overwhelming.

Too thin
I read the reviews, I looked at the pictures, and decided to try it. ultimately, I agree with those who said the consistency is too thin and not what I want out of a conditioner . I will not be purchasing again.
