Game changer!

This shampoo has done a completely 180 on my hair. It has gotten longer and I have less split ends. It has repaired a lot of damage to my hair from coloring. It really does work!

Silicone causing weaker roots

Like this shampoo, it has an impressive list of ingredients, the thing that might be causing the hair fall for some people is it shows “Amodimethicone” way up on the ingredients list which is a silicone used in conditioner, it might not cause greasy hair or fall out, if it might be excluded, a humble request to kerastase to please remove amodimethicone from the shampoo, as this defeats the purpose of making the hair roots stronger.

My holy grail shampoo

This is my second bottle of this shampoo. My long hair gets unruly and this helps it get clean without stripping it. I typically have a hard time finding shampoo that works for me and it’s a big deal for me to repurchase a shampoo.

I liked it But...

I did like it and the line mask, but not after initial day of washing it seemed to make my hair oily quicker than usual. Still love Desifique better :) Was suppose to be great for ext rec by stylist, but again ext was flat etc after day 1.

This shampoo and conditioner actually work. I’m trying to grow my hair out for my wedding. I have been using these products since November, now in February my hair is surprisingly much longer and very healthy. I wash my hair 2x per week, and I don’t use it ever wash but it has still really added length to my hair!

Voluminous soft hair

A little goes a long way- don’t overuse the product, for shoulder length hair, start with a dime-sized amount, suds in your hands first, and massage in hair. I have a very oily scalp and with the use of this product, I don’t have any issues going two days at least without washing it! Great shampoo- customer for life on this one, please don’t change it ❤️

Happy Hair

I was introduced to this product last year on a California cruise. Shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling very clean and light. I don’t have to use a lot and I don’t have to wash my hair often to have it feel soft and healthy.

For oily, flat, breaking hair

If you struggle with flat, oily hair but your ends are always breaking and can never gain thick length.. this is the shampoo for you. I thought I’d just try Kerastase along with other hair care avenues when my hair went downhill, but I actually fell in love and refuse to wash my hair without it. My hair has completely changed!

Outstanding performance

Regardless of your hair type, I believe you will find this shampoo to be quite outstanding in providing great results without weighing hair down. It has been very effective in keeping my long hair from heat damage. It seems to provide nice volume as well. The scent is clean and lovely. My stylist is very particular, and always asks I have this on hand for house call blow outs. Highly recommend. I have tried many high end hair brands, and always come back to Kerastase.

BE CAREFUL CREATINE IS PROVED TO MAKE HAIR FALLEN

I naively bought this shampoo after seeing youtube reviews and reading reviews. Taurine is supposed to make your hair grow and it is very high in the ingredient list. However I knew that creatine makes your hair fall (creatine like testosterone goes on DHT receptors and induce baldness) but still gave this shampoo a try thinking the taurine will be good to grow my hair. Normally I use bain densite however as soon as I switched to bain extensioniste thinking naively that I could alternate the both shampoos to make my hair grow faster, I started to regret sooo much my decision. It made me lost soooo much hair in the shower even without brushing it wet, just in using my finger to delicatelly comb it I could see TONS of hair fall my hands were full of hair. I got so scared it happened the 2 times I used it. Why do you use creatine in your shampoo when it is proved to induce baldness ???? I will never ever of my life try this shampoo again, I go back to Kerastase bain densite / densifique shampoo but I am so angry after Kerastase for all the hair I have lost, and it makes me soooo sad and want to cry everytime I see myself in the mirror. I just hope it will grow back very soon because it ruined my self confidence. Remove creatine from some of your shampoos !

Bain Extentioniste Shampoo and Discipline Fondant

The stylist that cut my hair recommended Bain Extentioniste Shampoo and Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste for my hair. Both products are definitely not worth the money. While my hair feels soft - it is too soft. I cannot do anything with it. It seems to feel greasy by day 2. And worst, there appears to be a lot more hairs in my brush after using your products. Definitely not worth the money. I will not be buying again. In fact, I will probably stop using it.

Good for fine, thin, color-treated hair

My hairstylist recommended this shampoo after my long, color-treated hair was looking thin and scraggly due to breakage and shedding/hair loss. It’s not too heavy for my fine, thin hair (which is easily weighed down by thick, creamy shampoos). It doesn’t dry out my hair either.

No need hair stylist!

I like this shampoo. I feel my hair very soft and easy managable without using any styling tools and products. I am not sure what is the magic of this shampoo but really like how my hair looks after washing. I have slightly curly, unrully hair. Not easy to find a right shampoo. I wash my hair in the morning, let them dry naturally while i m having my coffe and doing my make-up. By the time i get to my job, my hair is done. I just wish the shampoo would be sulfate free however i haven't been noticing any hair damages because of it. I would like to believe that it can make my hair grow but i m not sure either, since I m doing highlights every 2-3 months and of course it provides some damages and prevent fast hair grow. But hopefully longer use of shampoo woukd reduce breakage and coloring damage as well.

Love this product. I only got the small travel size because I only wash my hair once a week and wanted to try it before buying the bigger bottle but I’ve always only used drugstore shampoos and I could notice a huge improvement in my hair even after one use! The product even smells, looks and feels better when using. I’ve only been able to use it a few times so I haven’t noticed a drastic change in the length yet however the feel and texture has already improved

This is one that's ALWAYS in the shower

I think what I love the most is that my hair feels clean, but not striped of moisture. I get the proper amount of body without the dry crunchy feeling of some volumizing shampoo and conditioner treatments. I can use it during high humidity days and super dry days and get the same fantastic result. Plus thy smell is clean, refreshing and not overly perfumey.

Pour le prix, je pensais que le produit venait en plus grosse quantité. Aussi, il faut utiliser beaucoup de shampoing lors d’un lavage car il ne s’étale pas très bien dans les cheveux et ne fait pas beaucoup de mousse. Je suis un petit déçu niveau qualité-prix. Great scent!

I am new to Kerastase products. So far, I am very pleased with the products I've used. I just purchased this product, so will keep you posted on results after a while of using. The scent is really nice (in fact I love it). My only complain, is that the shampoo feels just a tad bit "heavy" for my hair type. Maybe my hair just needs to get used to it? Not such a big deal yet... Gonna keep using it to see if any of that changes.

Great shampoo, not so great price

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few months now and it’s really transformed the texture of my hair. I have pretty thick and long hair, so I go through the 250ml bottles pretty quick. The 500ml bottles are hardly ever in stock. I wish Kerastase can fix this so that I’m not spending so much on the smaller bottles and I can stock up on the bigger ones instead.

Did Not Live Up to Expectations

This review includes the Extensioniste shampoo, masque, and serum. Purchased this just a few weeks ago and began using the entire line last week. After five days (yes, I have to wash my hair daily), my hair is coated to the point where I can barely run a comb through, flat, and greasy. If possible, it also feels extremely course and dry, and I am noticing even more hair in my comb and brush. I really wish I hadn't strayed from the outstanding Nutritive line. Live and learn. These product will most likely see the bottom of my trash barrel.
