The best anti-brass mask I have used

Many of the anti-brass products I have used have made my hair dry and difficult to manage. This product is a dream! It has a lot of pigment to combat brassiness and it makes my hair so soft.

Great Product- Could Tone Better

Highly recommend this mask!

Great product!

It smell not too strong, just enough to make my hair smell amazing - unlike other products that smell like they contain a lot of harsh chemicals. Mask for blonde hair

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had the opportunity to test the Shu Uemura anti-brass purple mask in exchange for my honest review. I have light ash blonde highlight hair and I prefer more of a silver tinge. While the mask was nourishing and smelled amazing, it didn’t take all of the brassiness away, even after following the directions on the box. My hair did feel soft and less damaged after using the mask. I would use as conditioning mask but I am not sure I’d buy it again for brassiness.

Helped the tone of my hair

A great hair mask for dry hair

When I opened the package, the actual hair mask itself is very modern looking as well it has a very cool look. It was easy to use, the instructions were very clear and I used it in conjunction with their shampoo. The product results were great - my hair is dry, coloured blonde, and thin and this product really helped it! It came out with that healthy feel, my hair was light (not weighed down like some masks) shiny and healthy! In addition, I felt it was great on the colour, keeping it bright! Masked Up

I tried to just use the shampoo but my hair did not have the same feel to it. However using just the mask my hair was so shiny and fresh looking. Nourishing Purple Mask

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Extremely nourishing purple mask that smells fantastic! Worked extremely well at toning my blonde balayage from brassy tones. I kept it in for about 5 minutes in the shower after using the accompanying shampoo and it worked extremely well at not drying out my hair while toning. My hair felt soft and clean. I also used it without the shampoo with my regular shampoo and toning quality was still the same without drying out my hair. Very impressed by this product and the packaging. Purple shampoo that actually works!

Fantastic Purple Hair Mask

Do be aware that the purple really stuck on the bleached sections of my hair, and turned it to a lilac colour (something that I was okay with). The mask also smells amazing.

Mask Review

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This came at a good time as I am almost due for a salon visit. I have long thick blonde coloured hair. I used the mask in combination with the purple shampoo. The smell is amazing, the colour looks very rich! I used this after the shampoo which is very drying, like all purple shampoos but I didn’t find the mask super hydrating. My hair was still very tangled and dry after using it twice this week. I didn’t notice any change in the level of brass in my hair but I absolutely loved the scent it left which lasted 3 days!

Beautiful Blonde Saver

You don't need a lot for good coverage. After applying and leaving in for 2-3 min my hair felt so soft during the rinse. It really took out the yellow tones from my hair in just one use.

Luxuriously Blonde

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product made me feel like a superstar! It comes in a nice compact container and what I like it you do not need a lot to cover a lot of hair. I was worried it would stain my skin but I was pleasantly surprised it did not. Although vibrantly purple once lathered onto your hair it is not as distinct looking. It smells great and like a high quality product. This balm was unused in addition to the shampoo, and the results were gorgeous! I use this on a weekly basis and it’s kept my blonde from turning brassy but also, more unexpectedly, kept it super soft. Like can’t stop touching it soft. This balm is true to its claims and I will definitely continue using it. I recommend it for all the blondes out there who want to keep their salon blonde going!

This mask smells amazing and toned my hair noticeably, but didn't turn it purple after 5 minutes. I did follow the directions and dried my hair off a bit before applying. It didn't weigh down my fine hair. Expensive, but if used once a week would be good to maintain blonde before toning.

Hairstylist review of purple mask

Even the top of the line sometimes leaves hair feeling dry. Not this one ! My hair is shiny (whaaaat. Blonde hair shiny ?!) and soft. Instant results

If you have shorter/thinner hair you will get many uses from a bottle of the product. Perfect for bleached, processed hair!

I find their formulas to be consistently excellent with great performance for the price point. I haven't used their hair products before, so I was excited but not totally sure what to expect. I have lots of fine, processed hair - it's been coloured multiple times and, most recently, bleached and highlighted. I use high-quality, salon products most of the time, but have been looking for more cost-effective alternatives. This mask fits the bill perfectly! It applies well, smells great, and most importantly, tones hair beautifully! It took out the brassy/yellow out of my blonde and left it a nice, cool shade. My hair felt smooth and wasn't dry or frizzy at all. Definitely recommend and I'll be repurchasing soon.

I love this mask

This mask is exactly what my hair needed. I like the smell. The mask is still expensive but you don't need to put on a lot, I use it as a conditioner too. I recommend it for dyed blondes. Hair feels great; is now purple

I have fully dried it, I followed the directions as intended but I am left with mostly purple hair. If it was all purple it might not be SO bad, but some areas are more purple than others.

Luxurious Experience

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As someone that has been blonde for a while, I am always open to trying new products to help with the upkeep. My hair can definitely feel dry and damaged after doing my roots (former hairstylist, do my roots myself!) so I need a good hair mask or deep conditioner to hydrate and moisturize my hair. The packaging of this product tells you exactly what you get and I would say that the product itself is the same colour as the container. It smells so good, reminding me of the high end smells in a magazine without overpowering my nostrils. It is so pigmented that I was worried it would make my hair purple but I stuck through and it did not stain my hair purple at all! I would say I had a very luxurious experience because of the smell and how smooth it made my hair feel. My hair felt so good! I noticed my hair was also shiny when it was dry which is hard to achieve on blonde/silver hair. I had a great experience with this product and will be looking into purchasing it in the future.

Gave new life to my hair

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really liked this product over all, it smelled nice and did an amazing job at toning my hair! I haven't done my balayage since August (it's December now) so my hair is pretty grown out and brassy right now. This product in tandem with the shampoo did a wonderful job of bringing my hair back to the white/silver it was supposed to be! What I didn't like was that it was in a tub, I prefer squeeze bottles because I find it difficult to get the product out of a tub to apply it while in the shower without getting water inside!

4min qui vaut la peine!

No more Brass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this shampoo smells so good. It lathers really nice and makes my hair feel heathy. I was a little leary about the mask because when I opened it it was dark purple. But if all the directions left it on for 5-10 minutes because I have a lot of breathiness. I have to rinse it out my hair felt really smooth and after drying it you can see how it really took a lot of the yellow out of my hair and it made the other areas cleaner looking blonde.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a definite treat that works well to neutralise brassy tones. I use it once a week on my highlighted slightly damaged, fine hair. It does take quite a lot of product to ensure I've covered all my hair, I usually comb it through to make sure I've gotten it all. My hair feels great afterward and it keeps the brassy tones away. It is expensive but if you can, I'd recommend using it with the matching shampoo.

Super moisturizing

Good purple hair care

Vibrant blonde hair

Great deeply toned violet mask

Pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have to leave this in long for it to condition my hair. It doesn't seem like a mask you use too often so a little goes a long way. I wouldn't use this on days you use the purple shampoo.

(all about the smell for me as well). the texture of my hair after being washed was awesome, very soft and smooth. I loved the cute little bottle and the fact that I barely needed to use any for it to work well and sud up nicely. As for the Anti-Brass after, I did not have nearly enough to properly assess the use of using this. I barely had enough for my hair with the one use packet. Id be willing to try again, but not spend a lot of money to do so. Shampoo gets an A+, the mask a C for now.

STUNNING!

I've tried several anti-brass blonde treated hair products but this is the first that has everything I am looking for to care for my hair. The product is very creamy, smells amazing (light floral with just a hint of musk) and leaves my hair looking salon fresh. The product almost sparkles with a lit from within type of glow. You leave the product on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse out. My hair is silky smooth, hydrated and so full of volume. A small amount of the product goes a long way, you definitely will get your money's worth with this product. I received this product free for review purposes.

Wonderful mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say this is something between a conditioner and mask because the consistency of it right in the middle. It is purple so it fight brassy hair and nicely hydrating so it helps with knots your shampoo probably just caused. Like the shampoo from the same line it is extremely fragranced but it is the luxurious smell and not the cheap grandma like smell. My hair looked shiny and healthy with way less brass.

Quality anti brass mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mask is super pigmented. I had to rinse out my shower after using and it left a bit of a tint. It smells great and definitely took the brass out of my hair. It was moisturizing as well. However, I feel there are better purple hair masks for a lower price.

Okay for a toning mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as toning masks and shampoos I was not overly impressed. I have used my fair share of these kinds of products as I am not a fan of yellow or orange tones in my hair and keep it a very cool ice blond. This mask may have evened out my hair a bit but didn't perform to the level I would expect at this price point. I will still with my current line of hair toning products.

Love this mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mask, it has a very nice scent and it leaves my hair very soft and smooth. My hair has been color-treated to be a very light blonde but it never stays that way for too long. This mask and the whole hair care line has restored it to the way it looked fresh from the salon- more vibrant and less brassy. This also left my hair soft and more manageable. I will definitely recommend it to anyone with light blond hair.
