Great Wash!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very thick hair and truly did not expect much lather or even a scent but once I applied the shampoo in my hair I kept working it in and I got a nice lather and even a pleasant scent. I let it set in my hair for probably 5 minutes or so then worked it in more before I rinsed. It rinsed out beautifully and then I applied the matching conditioner.

Greasy Hair :(

Unfortunately, I do not notice any added brightness to my blonde hair with use, and actually notice a LOT of greasiness when I use the blonde line. Disappointed!

Meh- new formula?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure if I got a faulty batch- this is my go to shampoo for 5+ years but this latest bottle had a thinner consistency than usual and honestly my hair looks fried after each wash. Feels brittle and frizzes up immediately. Not a happy camper! The conditioner is 💯💥 so idk take your chances!!

It's so purple!

Works Well On Light Colored Hair

Not what I needed

Did it make my color good~yes but def not my everyday shampoo and what a lot of money. I will stick with my beloved pureology hydrate shampoo.

Removes brassiness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well to remove brassiness. I’m a brunette with balayage highlights, and I use it to keep the highlights from looking too caramel-y. The first time I used it, I let it sit on my hair for about 3-4 minutes, and I felt like it made my highlights too light for my liking. But if I don’t let it sit it removes the brassiness and doesn’t get too light. I also prefer to wash my hair with regular shampoo first, then the purple shampoo so I don’t have to use as much. Works great. It also doesn’t stain my skin blue/purple.

I have been using strength cure blonde for a year now, my hair has strengthened so much. My hair is very chemically damaged and hasn't grown in forever but found that after using this it has grown and also gets rid of the yellow tones really well.

It does help keep blonde hair light and bright. It's a little drying on my scalp so I only use it 3 times a week. So...I had to buy a second shampoo for in between those days. Wasn't expecting the additional cost for shampoo.

I have tried so many purple shampoos and this is THE best. Pricey, but this tones beautifully and gets rid of brass without leaving a horrible lavender hue, which is the case for all the others I've tried. This one leaves my hair soft and never dried out. I love the color it leaves on my curly highlighted hair.

I used this for the first time today. It does not stay purple long enough to make a difference. . .it also left my hair very tangly. I will be going back to the Redken Color Extend Blondage Depositing Purple Shampoo. Less expensive and better results.

Caused breakage! Avoid!
I’ve used the same purple shampoo for a couple of years and hair is in really good condition. Used this twice and hair broke off around the hairline!!! So bad to the point I’ve had to have it cut off to match up! Distraught!

Not my favorite product from this company
I have used pureology for lots of years and love the product. I decided to get my hair done blond and thought I would try out their purple shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately my mistake as it completely drys your hair out and the smell of the conditioner is awful. I will go back to the regular pureology shampoo and conditioner and find a different purple shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tbh I thought this would be a really good purple shampoo because the price but I wasn’t very satisfied it made my hair feel dry and u have to use a bunch on the conditioner just to get it all through your hair and I have medium length hair and the sucky thing about it is it’s the conditioner that you leave in for five minutes instead of the shampoo  The reason you have to use so much of the conditioner is because it’s so thick that it’s hard to move around all in all I wouldn’t buy this product Pureology Strength Cure Blonde Shampoo but I guess for everyone else u can’t knock it tell u try it Pureology Strength Cure Blonde Shampoo

No more brassy color
I love what this shampoo does for my hair color. It takes away any trace of brassiness but my hair does feel a little dry after I use it. That is easily fixed with a little extra conditioning.

Love it!

I do feel like there are better purple shampoos out there for the same or cheaper price. The shampoo is perfect for people who don’t mind a thicker product. My platinum/silver/grey hair is restored
I just bought and tried this shampoo (and conditioner) for the first time. I have grey hair that is a mix of silver and charcoal. I have my hairdresser add lowlights every few months. My silver strands typically yellow over time so I was searching for a solution. This shampoo knocked the yellow/warm tone out and restored the cool silver/plantinum and charcoal. I cannot believe the difference. I read the 1 star reviews and can't agree with any of them. My hair is lustrous, soft and shiny. I am so happy with this product. (I use Oribe Silverati shine after the blow dry.)

Really enjoy how bright
