I miss Wonder Worker

The ingredients list seems almost the same as Wonder Worker, but somehow it doesn't work as well for me. Its heavier/oilier/something on my hair. I won't be purchasing again.

Usually I look to a leave in, mousse, or detangler to smooth, moisturize, tame frizz, and detangle, but this is a product that does it all. Even though its a primer, it eliminates the need for some other these products. I like that it works on almost any hair, and it specifically works well in my hair. My hair feels so soft and smooth after using this. It sprays onto my hair, so there is less need to rub it in with my hands. This makes it super quick and easy to use. I love how versatile it is. It makes my hair look and feel great, so I would recommend it.

Great Protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros - This primer does just what it says it will do. The scent is great and my hair feels soft and silky afterward. I don't get the "smoke" I get from other sprays when the heat hits it. Cons - The sprayer shoots more of a stream than a mist, so tends to get everywhere. My hair also seemed to get oiler near the scalp quicker, so definitely not a multiple day wear.

Smooths and adds control

My hair is very fine/thin and it was really dry and damaged a few months ago. I have changed up a few products I was using, and added this Shiki product and my hair has never felt or looked better. This makes my hair silky soft, and gives it a little shine that I haven't had in years. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. I only need two sprays and I am good to go. Detangled & smoothed my wavy hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing and so easy to use hair primer. After shower I sprayed midway to ends throughout my damp shoulder length hair. I loved that it works even if I only air-dry. My hair felt immediately smoother and once dry it had a silky texture that I don't normally get from using only one product. It is very lightweight consistency with very subtle fresh scent that dissipates quickly. I also sprayed a couple times in my hands and patted it on in the morning before leaving for the day and it cut down on flyaways and left my hair smelling fresh and frizz-free. Made my hair feel drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes as I've heard good things about Shu Uemura's hair care, but this did nothing for my hair, if anything it made my hair feel slightly drier after blow drying? First of all the mist mechanism is poorly designed for a high end product. The spray was too strong and narrow, resulting in an uneven application or using too much product. I ended up spraying the product into my hands and then applying it to my hair for even distribution. Now regardless of how little or much I used it how I applied it, my hair always felt a little drier and looked a little duller when I used this mist. Absolutely baffling, not to mention disappointing.

The packing is very nice and I like that it has a spray pump. The smell is nice and fresh. Not too over powering. The product is light and doesn't weigh your hair down and isn't oily. When I first used this I couldn't believe how smooth and shiny my hair was. I couldn't quit touching it and looking in the mirror. No other styling product compares to this by far. Nice detangler, but weighs hair down

I used a volumizing repair shampoo prior to spraying this, and it worked decently as a smoothing detangler. The smell was pleasant and the product wasn't too sticky or greasy. However, I'm skeptical of the "weightless" claims, since even after blow drying my hair with a round barrel brush for a while, my hair still felt and looked fairly lifeless, and any increased volume I gained was shortlived. I'm thinking this would work better for someone with thicker or more textured hair.

Non-Frizzy Beautiful Hair

Softens hair and protects!

I first tried this and let my hair air dry since that is the way I usually do my hair. My hair smelled great and felt soft but it made my curly hair frizzy since it didn't have any hold/smoothing properties. Fantastic Hair Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shu Uemura Shiki Worker Multi-Benefit Hair Primer worked wonderfully on my dry, thick hair! I applied it to my wet hair, and then combed through and blow dried. My hair stayed tangle-free and dried soft and smooth. I loved the scent - it reminds me of being in the salon, only at home! It's very easy to use - just spray on wet hair! This is a luxurious hair product I'd recommend to others.

Easily THE BEST hair product ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! I'm so excited to write this review because my heart is literally bursting with love for this product! My hair easily tangles, gets SUPER flat, is terribly frizzy, very dry (especially in the winter) and just looks dull. I tried everything from drugstore products to $100+ products and nothing dealt with all my issues. I just had bad hair, but not anymore! Shiki Worker Blowdry Primer is the new love of my life! It is very easy to use as the spray pump gives a fine mist of wonder formula. It doesn't all go on 1 spot in the hair. Once it's on, it is VERY easy to brush through, and kills tangles. I'm not getting headaches and breakage anymore from constantly pulling out tangles! The scent is literally delicious! It is a very soft, fresh, clean scent with a hint of grapefruit. I love how fresh my hair smells, even on day 2. My hair is very easy to blowdry and style now too! I don't get the "wave" when I don't straighten and even in humid days, I don't look like a poodle! Literally, NO FRIZZ! (My mother has the frizz worse than I do. Her hair is very curly. I let her try, and she had to order her own!) Now, I complain that my hair is dry and frizzy, yet so many other products are just too heavy for my hair. I end up looking like I pasted my hair to my head! The real test was to see if Shiki Worker would give me the volume I crave. The answer- YES! This was the icing on the cake! I still have amazing volume! I'm honestly so happy I found this product that a year is coming to my eye! With pretty much new hair, the shine this formula provides seals the deal! Never, and I mean EVER have strangers complimented me on my color and highlights! My hair just looks so healthy and shiny now that you can actually see the color I pay good money for! I'm addicted. Magic in a bottle

7th Wonder of the World

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Once again Shu Uemura has made another all star hair product! Shiki Worker Blow Dry Primer is AHmazing! It is truly the 7th wonder of the world as far as hair products go. It made my hair so soft, smooth, and frizz free. It also detangled my hair, gave it texture and volume, and left it super shiny! It has virtually no fragrance at all. It just smells clean! And I used it before I blow dried my hair, and I sprayed it all over. It comes in a spray form which I LOVE because I can spray it and scrunch it, or I can spray it and rub it in my hands and apply where I need it. I love that this spray can be used for blow outs AND air dry hair! I have blonde, highlighted, long hair. Some days, I just can't handle the whole blow dry, straighten, and curl routine. Plus, I like to keep my hair healthy, so I let my hair air dry most days. The problem is, it turns out frizzy if I do decide to dry it and other issues occur. But not with Shiki Worker Blow Dry Primer! It left my hair unbelievably frizz free and not at all flat! It even looked like I had blow dried it! I love it!
