What has changed???

I have used this shampoo for years and raved about it. The last bottle I received was totally different. Unlike the rich thick product I am used to this is thin and watery. My hair is much less dense and does not feel like I have used a volumizing shampoo. So sad!

Clean, Nourished, and Silky results

My hair is long (past my shoulders but not quite to the middle of my back) and fine which means many products weigh down my hair and even some make it feel greasy. I also have my hair colored at the salon and use heating tools like flat irons & curling wands. My hair can feel rather dry per se because of all the abuse it gets. I noticed a difference right away how different my hair felt and looked after the first use. My hair felt clean, nourished, and silky. This is a high quality, luxurious shampoo that I definitely recommend.

Great volumizing shampoo

Amazing Shampoo

I have very short hair, but it lacks volume and this shampoo added lots of volume to my hair. It lathers well and rinses cleanly. Luxurious, moisturizing shampoo

The products were luxurious and left my fine, straight hair feeling moisturized and voluminous. I noticed my hair felt much more sleek using these products compared to my usual ones. After trying out the shampoo and hair mask, I don't think I could tell whether they helped with volumizing my hair, but they both smelled amazing and left my hair soft and replenished. The prices might seem on the higher-end, but a little goes a long way and they are both worth every penny!

Great Lather, Great Volume

Shu Uemura Muroto Volume Lightweight Care Shampoo for Fine Hair is the shampoo I've been searching for my entire adult life! The formula has a rich lather that cleans my hair and scalp so effectively, yet it doesn't dry it out. At all. I'm left with shiny, bouncy hair that looks like I just stepped out of a salon! Pump Up the Volume

And with every ballerina bun and top knot, I worry if my hair looks too flat. Not anymore! Shu Uemura's new Muroto Volume Shampoo is exactly what my lifeless, limp hair needs. It is designed for fine hair like mine, that tangles too easily. I've tried other shampoos that claim to give you big, bouncy hair with not that much success. Shu Uemera's new Muroto Volume Shampoo is different from others I've tried. It lathered up really well in the shower, and it left my hair feeling clean, but not stripped. It also did not fade my color. It just made my hair look and feel great! I followed it up with a very lightweight mask, and the results were amazing! My hair never had this much body before! Pretty good

The shampoo cleansed my hair and scalp really well without leaving my hair or scalp dry. The scent is nice as well. Since I usually only wash my hair 1-2 times a week, it's important that it cleans well and I don't need a lot of product. I did find that I had to wash twice to really cleanse my scalp but that's usually normal for me.

In using with combination of the shampoo I had noticeable results the first try! Made my hair feel voluminous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really oily hair and it usually is flat with no volume. My hair is thin , but I do have lots of hair. I wasn't fond of the scent , but it wasn't strong, it honestly doesn't matter too much if the results outweigh the scent ( someone else may love the sent , it's just my own opinion). The results definitely outweighs the scent! It made my hair feel so soft , bouncy and voluminous. I really need a haircut but using this along with the Muroto Volume Hair Mask felt like I just had a haircut at the salon. I'm on day 3 after washing my hair and my hair would usually be really oily by now , but it actually still looks really clean and voluminous!! Decent Cleanse

Pleasant scent

Soft and shiny

This stuff is amazing. With just using this stuff one time, I can tell a huge difference in my hair. It looks and feels so much better already. It made my hair smooth and soft with just 1 use! I can only imagine how much healthier my hair will be after several uses of this stuff. This is magic in a bottle for sure. Absolutely would recommend to anyone!

Voluptuous and shiny

Savior for thin hair

When I have going to an event when I would like my hair looking thick, healthy and full of volume I use this holy grail product. BEST LINE ON MARKET..

I have tried every collection from Shu. I lost all my hair in 2006 due to a hospital stay & only 25% of the volume came back. It still falls out w/ different meds & stress. I used to use ultimate reset til they changed the ingredients. I use this as my shampoo & conditioner & the Silk Bloom mask. I have tried so many different brands before this & have tried others after but always come back to Shu. It is costly but it is the only line that has helped my hair. I used to buy the holiday boxes @ Xmas & stock up for the year but I was so disappointed when I saw the only 2 collections (mutroto volume & silk bloom) YOU DIDN'T SELL IN BOXES THIS YEAR!! So basically if you have thinning hair, lost yr hair or just want the best hair possible this brand is for you! This collection is very light. I still color my hair & always keep Color Lustre on hand & mix it together. So you just have to find which one works best for you. I am a client for life. PLEASE SELL THIS AGAIN IN BOXES!

Great new product for me!!

I had no been happy recently with my shampoo and asked a hair professional for their recommendation for my good quality but fine gray hair. He gave me the name of two of your products and I bought both. One for fine hair and one more of a cleanser. Love both so I’m alternating them. What a difference to anything I’ve ever used. The tone of my gray is great too!

L'Oreal ruins another great product

Like so many things that L'Oreal gets their hands on the company has managed to once again take a product I love and ruin it. I no longer get the same volume that I am accustomed to from the previous formula. The new fragrance lacks the luxury of the original even the blue of the bottle is mass market. Like Kiehl's and SkinCeuticals before you have turned beauty gems into lumps of cheap coal.

Old formula was better

I used this shampoo for years, they recently changed the formula and it's not good. Now it feels like it is stripping my hair of moisture, but worse than that, the shampoo smells terrible. I'm so disappointed because it was a great shampoo for fine hair that needs volume.
