This Marula oil infused shampoo is a shine-enhancing formula ideal for lack-luster hair.
The airy and rich lathering shampoo revives the hair fiber by generously nourishing it with all the nutrients it needs for a silky feeling. It purifies and eliminates residue and pollution particles to eliminate dulling elements. Enriched with a subtle combination of Marula Oil and Camellia Oil, the formula is highly concentrated in vitamins C and D, and Oméga 9, a natural fatty acid for a long-lasting action. Together, these nourishers also ensure the gentle floral and leather notes from the fragrance last longer on hair. The hair fiber is prepared to be treated, luminous with shine and nourished to the tip.
- Apply on wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a small amount of shampoo.
- Add water and emulsify.
- Focus this first wash on the scalp using finger tips to work into the scalp and remove impurities.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Apply a second small amount of shampoo and add water.
- The second lather will produce a more abundant foam which will help cleanse lengths all the way to the ends.
- Rinse thoroughly.

Really Liking It
I have thick hair that is prone to dryness. My hairdresser recommended that I try this line and I've been really happy with it. It seems to take a great deal of the frizz out my hair without making it feel weighed down or gritty. The smell is very "salon-esque" so I do like that. I use this along with the conditioner and the serum and have liked the results.

Perfect shampoo.
Absolutely exquisite shampoo, and probably the most versatile in the Kerastase line! Several of the other Kerastase shampoos don't work for my combination oily scalp/dry ends hair type, but Le Bain makes my hair uniformly soft, clean, shiny, and smelling beautiful. I wish they offered this in the deluxe size or refillable options! I hope they never discontinue this product!

Bought this when my hair had been feeling desperately dry. This shampoo is the ultimate rescue for dry hair - pair it with the mask! I use this in my first few washes post highlights. Too heavy for my hair to use all the time but it is absolutely luxurious!

Hi There! Thank you for trying our Le Bain Shampoo. First begin with saturating the hair and rinsing it very well with warm water. This will help to break down any product or environmental build-up. Then, to follow with the first round of shampoo. The first round will break down and remove all product/environmental buildup. So don’t expect too much lather at this point; the shampoo is absorbing the congestion. However, it is possible at this point to add a palm full of water to help distribute the shampoo, as well as provide a bit of lather. Rinse thoroughly. Next, repeat with a second round to deliver the nutrition complex and shine properties. You’ll notice on the second application that there won’t be as much shampoo needed as with the first application.

WHERE IS THE 500ML?!?!
So I have taken some time to use the Le Bain shampoo for a week now, and at first I was feeling a little eh about it due to how I’ve never used a shampoo with a top that you pour the product out. So I was worried that the product would go down very, very quickly. But, after a whole week and a couple of days the shampoo is still filled up almost to the top! Right where it says “Paris” below the Kérastase logo is that is where it currently is at now. After a week! And I need more than just a quarter size due to my thick hair! I just really, really wish this shampoo came in a 500ml size (it truly is THAT great!), like some of the popular ones do. Saves more product, and lasts longer before having to buy another one sooner! I cannot express the amount of compliments I continue to receive using these products, the scent it gives off, the beautiful shine that it gives, and the softness and smoothness of my hair, and my hair is not always frizzy, but a couple of days now it has been raining like crazy. And even when it’s raining and it’s humid. I’ve noticed NO frizz!! I have been asked almost every day what I use on my hair. And it makes me feel so good to be complimented on a part of the body that doesn’t get noticed all the time. (At least the first impression)

Le Bain Shampoo Review
I use Le Bain Shampoo regularly, which is about every 3-4 days. It has a very subtle and soft, not quite floral fragrance. This shampoo leaves my fine, highlighted honey blond hair perfectly clean and feeling healthier than previous products. It also seems to allow the highlighting around my face shine.

Very moisturizing, smell heavenly
I absolutely love this shampoo. It is very moisturizing, after rinsing, I can immediately feel my hair so smooth, yet my scalp clean. I got enough lather for my hair length on my second wash. The smell of this shampoo is heavenly!! It's not too strong like the Chronologiste scent, but it's strong enough to linger after hair washing, I enjoy my washing day routine more because of this scent. For me, I think this shampoo is more suitable in the dry weather, I would switch to other Shampoo from Architecte or Nutritive lines when weather getting humid.

J'ai testé énormément de produits ces dernières années et la gamme Elixir Ultime est la seule qui permet de maitriser ma chevelure et de retrouver la brillance. J'ai d'abord testé L'huile originale et vu des résultats, mais c'est la combinaison avec toute la gamme Bain + Fondant (+ Mousse) + L'huile originale après séchage qui marche parfaitement. Bring consumers larger volumes to reduce waste
While I enjoy using your product, I don’t appreciate that your company already has the capability (I.e. bottles, labels, pumps, and mfg equipment) to produce liters and chose to only sell them to salons. I do not enjoy having to purchase these small bottles that don’t even have pumps. The bottle falls out of my hands, I waste product (I’m sure that is purposeful for a brand that enjoys waste). You have competition that are doing a better job. It’s one step forward to sell your 5 best-selling shampoos, but when will all the shampoos be available. If things don’t change, I can’t support your company as it doesn’t align with my values.

Highly perfumed (too much) but I like how it makes my hair feel and look. I use about a quarter size and still do not get a good lather but once I got over that, I realized how much I like how it makes my hair feel and look. I’ve used many other salon brands and went off Kerastase for a few years. I’m not sure why and now that I’ve come back I won’t leave again.

Too Fragrant, Oily Result
I've been using the hair oil serum for years, love it. I was excited to receive a sample of the shampoo and conditioner. WOW, way too fragrant was my first impression. A bit overwhelming, I do not like strong fragrance and this was beyond strong in the shower. I definitely had to rinse extremely well after using this product. While it did create nice shine initially, my normal to dry hair felt and looked greasy the following day. Not for me.

Way too harsh
The shampoo smells amazing and has a very luxurious texture and feel. It is, however, waaaay too cleansing for anyone who does not have extremely oily scalp/hair. When I read it was an oil-based shampoo for shine, I thought it would be gentle and nourishing, but it is the opposite of that: leaves my dry hair even drier, more tangled and frizz prone. I would recomend if for someone with an extremely oily scalp and thin hair. Bain Satin or Magistral are more suitable for dry hair.

Bring back the old formula
I loved the older version of this shampoo. Please bring back the original scent. How many complaints do you guys need before listening to your customers? I would 150% recommend this product (and have in the past) given you change it back to the original scent.

Your customer are asking for a product ..
I was planning on ordering this shampoo and conditioner as my hairstylist uses it on my hair every 6 weeks . However , after looking at his elixer and the new one We both realized he must have the older one . It smells fabulous and makes my hair look gorgeous.
After reading the reviews I don’t think I will order the new one.
A lot of your customers sound very unhappy that you changed it . Please listen to your customers and bring the old one back for those who like it so much and keep the new one for those the like the new one.
It a great way to keep your customers happy and returning . It seems like a simple solution for your loyal customers .

I simply LOVE the scent - but there is more to it
I’ve used most Kerastase lines and I simply love the Elixir Ultime. The scent is beautiful, chic and sultry. I would use it simply because of how it smells, but the benefits do not stop there. This shampoo is a godsend for my somewhat dry, somewhat frizzy and sensitive hair. It imparts shine and bounce, while nourishing and controlling frizz in FL (that’s saying something...) please do not change this formula... it is too beautiful for words.

Yikes. This has dried out my healthy, soft, easily brushable hair. It feels like dried up hay after using this and the corresponding hair masque.

New formula is not for me
My daughter and I loved the old formula, the scent and they way it made our hair feel was far beyond anything we’ve ever used. The scent of the new formula is not good, and they way our hair feels and looks is worse. We are so sad as this was a definite go to. Please bring the old formula back!!
