This scalp balancing shampoo treats oily roots by regulating the overproduction of sebum.

Great Shampoo For Working Out
I work out and my scalp and hair get sweaty. This shampoo is great for balancing your scalp especially if you use other products like dry shampoo. I use this shampoo a couple times a week followed by my regular shampoo (Premiere)

Oily hair solution
I really like this shampoo as it leaves my hair the perfect dry on roots and shiny on ends, the smell is great. If you have oily roots it helps balance your oil, if anything it really leaves a nice smell and works perfect with my hair type

Live by this stuff!
I've tried many shampoos and conditioners and love most of them. However, me and my daughter have two different types of hair but both of us have issues with oily hair on top yet dry scalps, my daughter even more so. So when I need something that balances us both out I go back to this for a bit. It smells so lovely and is so lightweight, not drying, and our hair looks and feels so fresh and clean afterwards.

I love this shampoo!

I did the hair test and this product was recommend. I’ve used it only once so far and I can already tell that my hair is shinier, my ends don’t look dry/broken and they look thicker. Favorite Shampoo!

it made my hair so DRY!!! my baby hairs felt like they will break and my ends felt like i straighten my hair everyday i stopped using the shampoo good thing i purchased the small version i thought this would help my hair but it made it worse.

Pire shampooing
J’ai essayé ce shampooing il y a quelques temps et juste après la première utilisation, mon cuir chevelu était irrité et j’ai eu beaucoup de démangeaisons. Mes cheveux n’avaient en plus de cela même pas un aspect assez plus brillants. Je vous déconseille donc ce produit.

Love This Shampoo
I recently had an injury and was unable to shower often so this was my saving grace during that time. I am a hygiene nut and have been my whole life so to go without washing my hair everyday was so incredibly hard for me but this shampoo worked great. It looked and felt fine after 2 days and that has never happened in my life . I am glad I took a chance and tried it ...a little pricey but worth every penny.

Auto reorder
I ordered this shampoo over a year ago and was somehow signed up for a subscription. My reorder went through this morning and as soon as I saw the charge I called to cancel it. There were no emails telling me that my auto renew was coming up so I could cancel before the shampoo was ordered. The company’s policy is that once a order is placed it cannot be modified. So now I need to wait to get the shampoo and return it for my refund.

My holy grail shampoo
I've been using this shampoo for years now, and have repurchased many times. It's just a little annoying when the larger size is out of stock, but I will continue to use this shampoo. It's amazing for fine hair that gets oily quickly.

Does not help my scalp produce less oil.
The shampoo does a good job at cleansing and removing any buildup as it has quite strong cleansing power. However, I don't notice any difference in my oily scalp production. My scalp still produces as much oil compared to other shampoos. Within 8 hours since shampooing, I already notice that oil has been accumulated on my scalp.

Not for oily roots…
Smells really nice, however it says that it designed for oily hair by the roots and dry on the ends. My hair was really greasy and I needed to wash it even more frequently. The product smells really good, but it didn’t help with oily roots at all.

Gave it a try...
Kerastase represents a brand that one would think carries products that live up to expectations. I was sadly disappointed. I unfortunately suffer from oily hair that requires washing every other day. This shampoo, believe me, actually made it worse! My hair felt weighed down, and by the end of the day, it was back to oily on day 1 of my hair wash. It also does not lather very well. I gave it a couple more tries before writing this review to make sure a fair chance was given to this shampoo. After using this 3 times, I can safely say this is an atrocious shampoo and you should not purchase this.

Great Product!
My hair stylist recommended this because I have fine hair with oily roots. I can’t go more than a day without washing or my hair looks greasy. I used this the afternoon before a redeye flight and went straight to an event from the airport the next day and my friends were commenting how good my hair looked. Usually it would have been a greasy mess after almost 24 hours and an overnight flight. Totally sold on this shampoo.

Thicker, yes, but at what cost?!
What I do like: hair feels super thick and dense, which I really like.
What I don't like: the texture of my hair is...odd. I have super straight hair, but the ends of my hair after using this are super kinked and textured and tangling like crazy (to the point that I had to trim my ends due to an insane tangle that I could NOT get out). It also does not make my hair or scalp feel very clean (I find I have to wash daily with this one). I don't know - I want to love it, but it's definitely doing something strange to my hair. I will probably finish the bottle (because $$$$) but will try a different shampoo next time

Brilliant
I don’t write reviews often but this product wowed me so much that I just needed to share. From the first use it became my holy grail shampoo. My hair are very fine, greasy on the roots and dry on the end (due bleaching, colouring, keratine straightening, blow drying). My hair used to get greasy the next day… no volume te be seen.
With this shampoo I wash my hair on 4th day (twice a week). I get tons of volume, overall healthy look and feeling. No need to wash and blow dry as often as I used to therefore preventing the future damage.

Damaged my hair
Good on paper and as a concept but terrible in reality. It did not work for me and my hair was damaged. The hair on my scalp became stretchy like mozzarella cheese and the tail end of it was weighed down and heavy. Not happy!

Cursed until I found this

I bought this shampoo for controlling access oil from my scalp but after using it I noticed a heavy hair fall. Also it doesn’t even fulfill the normal expectations that everyone has from a shampoo i.e shiny and smooth hair but it similar to some cheap shampoo. Not worth buying it.

Finally a shampoo that does what it promises

Holy Grail Shampoo!
I have used Bain Divalent Shampoo for years. It’s the absolute best shampoo I’ve ever used, any brand, any price point. I have very fine but very thick straight hair that tends to be greasy and flat at the roots, but dry and fragile at the ends. With this shampoo (and a little dry shampoo) I can stretch out shampooing to every other day, which for me is a miracle. And yet it does not dry out the ends. Please do not stop making this…there is nothing else like it anywhere!

Can be used with any of the masks.
In my opinion this is a core shampoo as it creates the perfect environment for any of the masks to work to its optimal potential. Cleanses my scalp yet does not dry out my lengths. My hair has been through a lot over the past 13 months: Hyperthyroid hair, color treated hair with highlights, menopause hair loss and texture changes, and then a horrible experience with an at home bonding treatment which turned my hair into a haystack. I was gutted. :(. I tried everything under the sun, including some other Kerastase shampoos and masks, which really did not help as much as I wished. But once I started using THIS shampoo, all the other masks worked like magic! My hair grew back - stronger and healthier! This shampoo is my foundation and will often use it with Extensioniste Mask, Masque Réhydratant or Le Masque. Because it thoroughly cleanses the scalp the serums appear to work better as well. Being that this is a scalp health focused shampoo which is kind to lengths, it should be offered in larger sizes and/or as a refillable option.

Maybe too strong for my hair
In the beginning, I was really happy with the results. My scalp was cleaner for a longer time in comparison to previously used shampoos. However, after a month of use, my scalp became itchy and my dry ends look even drier, even thou I use nutritive mask and termique heat protectant. I am a bit disappointed.

Great shampoo!
Great concentrated shampoo! I can go longer in between washes with this shampoo, with no greasy second/ third day hair feel. Helps to alleviate some symptoms of psoriasis on my scalp.

Amazing product! I was having problems with flaky scalp and major static in my ends.. I pair this with the rehydration masque and scalp detox. 100% recommend for oily roots/imbalanced scalp with flakes. My hair looks, feels, and smells great!

Another amazing product
The same hairdresser that referred me to the serum, also gave me this. This shampoo is great for clarifying your hair, especially if you use a lot of dry shampoo or products in your hair. Have only been using it for around a year, but I love it. I pair it with the redken citric acid shampoo as well. They work amazing together.

Left my lenghts dry
The use this shampoo made my roots healthier (nothing spectacular either) but left my lenghts very dry so I stopped using after a few applications.
And the smell aren't the most pleasant.

Not great for oily hair
Purchased this shampoo, along with two other recommended products (as displayed in the video) back in November of '22. It is now March of '23 and I have been using these three products as recommended.
I have fine and oily hair. Although the products smell amazing and are beautifully packaged, they did not fix my oily root problem. I still have to wash my hair every day, and on the second day, I can see and feel the oil in the roots. I know it would not be a total fix, but I was expecting to get at least some results (I was hoping for good enough results to skip washing my hair everyday to every other day). When I use the cleansing clay mask (recommended once a week), I feel like my hair gets oily even faster.
So no, these products are not for me. And they definitely do not justify the pricing.

It’s good, but still needs to wash my hair every 2 days or it will get oily! Also my hair feels a little waxy, but it’s been the only product so far that is controlling the oil in my scalp and odor. Don’t know if I would buy it again tho.

Ayant un cuir chevelu sensible, gras et pelliculaires je me suis tournée vers des shampoings conseillés par le dermatologue : mais aucun effet.
J’ai tenté le shampoing et là ! Génial! Un cuir chevelu moins sensible , moins gras et quasi plus de pellicules. Toute la famille l’a adoptée ! Un prix un peu élevé mais on utilise vraiment beaucoup moins de produits que les shampoings de grandes surfaces
